How you make a difference

The Program Administrator is responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team in an Adult Treatment Program, while working collaboratively with corporate and local management to achieve program goals and objectives. They must operate within the defined scope of the client agency's policies and budgetary guidelines. This role requires budgetary responsibility for all program expenses, ensuring that they align with the program's goals and objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

• The Program Administrator is responsible for analyzing financial data and establishing long-term plans to achieve program goals and objectives. 
• They maintain close relationships with government agencies and community partners, respond to unusual occurrences, and ensure staff are trained to respond appropriately to emergencies. 
• The Program Administrator directs all program functions, assigns duties, enforces policies, and monitors compliance with established methods and systems. 

• They provide adequate facilities, equipment, and physical inspections to ensure the health and safety of patients, residents, and staff. 
• The Program Administrator stays up to date on statutory requirements and legal decisions that impact program operations and decision-making. 

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Masters or Ph.D./Psy.D. in Psychology, Social Work or HealthCare Administration preferred.

Experience

• (3) three-five (5) years of experience working with forensic psychiatric patients
• (2) years of administrative experience in a secure forensic program, correctional or treatment facility-based setting is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Psychologist license in the state where work is performed is highly desired.
